MY APPROACH
My intention is to meet whatever arises with compassion, curiosity and presence. My approach is relational and embodied. The pace and direction of our work is set by you.
I believe many of our difficulties stem from relationship—either with ourselves or with others. By building a therapeutic relationship grounded in honesty and trust, and welcoming all of our humanness into the space, greater insight becomes possible, both within and beyond the therapy room. Such insight invites us to challenge stuck patterns and allows us to live more freely moment to moment.
With many years’ experience working with the body, I bring embodied awareness into our sessions to help explore what’s happening in the here and now. My practice is supported by a long-standing commitment to yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.
I work with a broad range of emotional, behavioural and relational concerns, including (but not limited to):
Bereavement and loss
Relationship issues
Confidence and self-esteem
Attachment and developmental trauma
Life transitions
Hopelessness and loneliness
Guilt, anger, fear and stress
Childhood trauma
I have experience working with neurodiverse people and parents of neurodiverse children.
