My Approach

MY APPROACH

My intention is to meet whatever you bring with compassion, curiosity and presence. My approach is relational and embodied.  The pace and direction of our work is set by you.

Often our difficulties stem from relationships, either with ourselves or with others. Psychotherapy is based on building a therapeutic relationship which welcomes all of our humanness into the room. This offers the possibility of greater insight which can then be taken into your daily life. Such insight invites us to challenge stuck patterns and to live more freely.

I have many years’ experience of working with the body; this embodied awareness is an integral part of exploring what is happening in the here and now.

My work is underpinned by a committed, consistent yoga, meditation and mindfulness practice.

I work with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and relationship issues, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, bereavement and other forms of loss, relationship difficulties, confidence issues, issues with attachment, life transitions, hopelessness and loneliness, guilt, anger, fear, stress and childhood trauma. I have experience working with neurodiverse people and parents of neurodiverse children.
